Running out of stamina at the wrong moment can ruin a fight, a chase or an escape. Whether you are climbing a cliff, sprinting from enemies or swinging heavy weapons, understanding how stamina and energy work is key to feeling in control.

Understand how your stamina bar actually works

In a safe area, watch the bar while you sprint, jump, dodge and attack. Count how many dodges it takes to empty it, or how long a full sprint lasts. This gives you a mental budget, so later in tense situations you instinctively know how much you can spend without going dry.
Prioritize stamina over small bursts of damage
A common mistake is spending all your stamina to squeeze out a little extra damage, then having nothing left to dodge, block or run. This feels great when it works, but it is exactly how you get punished by strong enemies or surprise adds.
